How long can BYTE be used?
BYTE is designed for long-term use. In the future, we will release more data adapter cards. You can keep using the machine for a long time just by replacing the cards and updating the firmware.
Is BYTE operation complicated? Can I easily get started without any mining experience?
We’ve simplified the setup process. Unlike other miners, you don’t need to log in to the backend for complex learning and settings. All you need to do is operate your mobile phone.
Do I need to buy Goldshell charger?
The Goldshell 140W wall charger enables the high-power mode. Also, you can use your own charger to run BYTE in the default mode, as long as it supports an output of 20V – 5A.
How is BYTE's earnings calculated? And how can I withdraw the earnings?
Product earnings depend on cryptocurrency price volatility. Log in to your chosen mining pool, transfer assets to your wallet, and start trading.
Why can't my BYTE connect to the Wi-Fi?
The most common reason is an incorrect Wi-Fi password. Also, note that BYTE only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi. If neither of these issues applies, you may try connecting it using Goldshell hub or IP.
Can I swap the card without shutting down the machine?
We suggest holding down the main button for 10 seconds or using the app to shut down the machine before removing the card.
While it is not recommended to swap the card without shutting down, we have implemented certain measures to help the machine continue running. But please be aware that the statistics will be inaccurate for the first minute.
