have used editors of all sorts for the last 20 years. This is the best one I have
used yet! It puts MS-DOS "EDIT" in the dark. Good work...
It's like Dos edit on steroids...
I currently use PEDIT, because it is very fast and simple to use.
It does the same work as all of the other big and expensive word processors, yet
takes up very little space on my computer.
I really like Pedit, it is a super DOS editor, and DOS editors ARE still needed
in the real world. It's a better editor than the commercial NORTON Editor I used
to use.
I am using Pedit as my default Windows text editor, and I've added a new action
to HTML files: "Open with Pedit!"
I put PEDIT on a floppy disk and I'll never leave home without it.
Fantastic editor that I've been looking for a while. I love the way you can paste
and also that I can open a document that's bigger than 64k. I am very happy to
have discovered this treasure of an editor. What else can I say except THANKS.

Excellent program. I have now thrown edit.com in the recycle bin...
PEDIT is a phenomenal program, and your spellcheck is as good, easily, as Microsoft
Word. Best of all, it runs great on a crummy 486 Laptop of mine!

Congratulations on an excellent text editor! I like the simple way the wrapping
(Alt-W) function works, especially the way it can format paragraphs with lines
ending with <CR>s - the kind of text you get from Web pages.
Pedit is indeed a very nice and handy piece of software, thank you. I love the
straight forward macro facility, the speed and the support for long filenames.
Absolutely amazing! You have put so many features into such a small sized editor.
PEDIT surely beats the "pants off" all the others. And you have it offered as
FREEWARE still. You have everything in it but the "kitchen sink" ...wait a minute,
I see the "kitchen sink" in the ALT-F1 customizing feature. Keep up the good,
no, make that *GREAT* WORK.
Hello, I've been using version 2 for a while, and am thrilled to see the long file
name support in version 3. I do a lot of data analysis, which requires frequent
editing, and the ability to delete columns of data rather than rows has been tremendously
useful.
I am glad to see that someone is still sane out there and not blindly jumping
on the WIN/INTEL bandwagon to produce another BLOATWARE !! Keep up the good work.
Simply fabulous, why didnt microsoft do their 'edit' this way? thanx again for

Pedit 3.00 is a great piece of coding!! I mostly use win95 applications nowadays,
but i think some DOS apps are still unbeatable.. (4DOS for example), Pedit is
special.

you consider its 'price'! There are costly things far worse than your program!
Thank you for keeping it freeware, it's just great, I can't say more. I will now
wipe out the Win95 EDIT.
So far I have not encountered a program that fit my needs better than the new
version of PEDIT does.

I enjoyed using your PEDIT. I find it is one of the easiest and most powerful
on the market to day at any price...and your's is Freeware which makes it without
comparison.
Pedit is Excellent. Congratulations !!!!!!! I've been looking for a good editor
for about 5 or 6 months. Some of them had almost everything, and others had few
things, but efficient. Finally I found PEDIT, and it's exactly what I was looking

Looking at the program in whole, I'm most satisfied, and think that it's probably
the only editor around that's really easy & fast to use.
Could I just mention that I enjoyed your pedit very much, and I like the idea
of having a powerful yet small editor. Thanks for the time you spent on refining

I download the PEditor few days ago and discovered it is wonderful! I use MS Editor
previously but I will never use it again.
To make Demos and Intros I use Watcom and TASM. So PEDIT is one of the best editors
that I have used.
I find pedit to be an excellent DOS editor for my needs.
I wish to congratulate you for your great editor! and for your generosity in making
it freely available. I do believe strongly in freeware myself.
Hello, i have tested your PEDIT software and i find it very useful.
I think it is very useful program: I searched a lot for a free text editor with
some features, and I found it in Pedit.
I just accidentally stumbled upon your PEdit program. I'm glad I found it, though,
because it's good to see an editor that allows editing of columns.
Thanks for the program... hope you'll keep it small and compact and even scale
down the program size further with subsequent improved version... it works fine
as it is..
I've just discovered the wonderful Pedit it's great.
I use EDIT quite a bit for quick and dirty edits but PEDIT is much more useful.
